Guernsey Airport's New Terminal Building became operational on the 19th April 2004. It replaces the former terminal which was constructed in 1939. The old terminal was demolished during May 2004. The New Terminal is designed to handle 1.25 Million passengers per annum. The New Building provides 12 Check-in Desks, Shops, Car Hire Facilities, Lounges, a Children's Play Area, a Bar, Café, Snack Bar, 2 Lifts and a First Floor Viewing Area.
