TRISLANDER TO FLY AGAIN
 
Aurigny's Trislander aircraft G-RBCI is to fly again.  It has been rebuilt by Anglo
Normandy Aeroengineeing and will be repainted prior to entering into service.
 
NEW ATR-72 AIRCRAFT FOR AURIGNY AIR SERVICES
 
Aurigny has plans to replace two of its current ATR-72-200 aircraft, G-BWDA and
G-BWDB, with two new ATR-72-500 aircraft. ATR-72 G-BXTN will remain in the fleet.
 
MORE DHC-8-Q400 FOR FLYBE
 
Flybe has taken delivery of further new DHC-8-Q400 aircraft.
The latest additions are registered G-JECW, G-JECX & G-JECY.
 
BLUE ISLANDS UPDATE
 
The new service to Paris has now commenced.  Flights operate Guernsey-Jersey-
Paris (Beauvais)-Jersey-Guernsey. The route operates daily except Saturday.
Flights from Guernsey to Cardiff were axed during early June 2007.
 
NEW DHC-8-Q400 FOR FLYBE
 
Flybe took delivery of a new DHC-8-Q400 aircraft on the 21st April 2007.
The latest addition is registered G-JECV.
 
VLM CHARTER APPLICATIONS
 
VLM has applied for permission to operate the following charter services:-
Jersey-Manchester (28th April 2007 to 29th September 2007)
Jersey-Belfast (28th April 2007 to 15th September 2007)
Jersey-Blackpool (28th April 2007 to 22nd September 2007)
Jersey-Dundee (28th April 2007 to 29th September 2007)
Jersey-Humberside (28th April 2007 to 15th September 2007)
Jersey-Leeds (28th April 2007 to 1st September 2007)
Jersey-Aberdeen (28th April 2007 to 15th September 2007)
Jersey-Stansted (28th April 2007 to 15th May 2007)
 
VLM also has plans to operate charter flights from
Guernsey to Belfast International, Dundee & Humberside.
 
AIR SOUTHWEST CHARTER APPLICATIONS
 
Air Southwest has been granted permission to operate a charter service between
Jersey and Leeds/Bradford between the 1st May 2007 and the 29th September 2007.
It has also been granted permission to operate a charter service between Jersey
and London (Stansted) between the 1st May 2007 and the 29th September 2007.
 
BLUE ISLANDS EXPANSION PLANS
 
Blue Islands has announed plans to commence flights between Jersey and Geneva,
Paris and Zurich.  It also has plans to acquire additional BAe. Jetstream 32 aircraft.
In addition larger aircraft are likely to be introduced for the Geneva and Zurich routes.
 
BLUE ISLANDS SOUTHAMPTON ROUTE
 
Blue Islands has been granted permission to operate
scheduled passenger service between Guernsey and Southampton.
The new service commences on Monday 2nd July 2007.
 
GERMAN FLIGHTS
 
Saturday flights between Germany and the Channel Islands are due to commence on
the 28th April 2007. Flight times below are arrival/departure times at Jersey Airport:
ATR-72 LH5020 Sttutgart-GCI-JER STA 1000 - STD 1040 LH5023 JER-Frankfurt
DHC-8-Q400 LH5026 Munich-GCI-JER STA 1125 - STD 1205 LH5027 JER-Munich
BAe.146-200 EW1670 Dusseldorf-GCI-JER STA 1250 - STD 1320 EW1673 JER-Hannover
ATR-72 LH5022 Frankfurt-GCI-JER STA 1755 - STD 1835 LH5021 JER-Sttutgart
BAe.146-200 EW1672 Hannover-GCI-JER STA 1830 - STD 1900 EW1671 JER-Dusseldorf.
The flight times have since been amended.  There is no Stuttgart service this year.
Flights are now operated by ATR-72s and DHC-8-Q400s only. 
 
FLYBE AIRCRAFT UPDATE
 
Flybe continues to take delivery of new DHC-8-Q400 aircraft.
The latest aircraft to be delivered is G-JECU. Flybe is also currently leasing
BAe.146-200 D-AMGL pending the delivery of further new aircraft.
 
BLUE ISLANDS TO CEASE ALDERNEY-JERSEY ROUTE
 
Blue Islands has announced the termination of its direct service between
Alderney and Jersey. At the same time BN-2B-26 Islander G-BIIP has left the fleet.
 
NEW MANCHESTER & NORWICH SERVICES
 
Flybe has announced a new daily service between Guernsey and Manchester which
will commence on the 24th May 2007. At the same time it was announced that, with
effect from the 25th March 2007, Flybe would operate Guernsey-Norwich daily.
 
NEW JERSEY-BIRMINGHAM SERVICE
 
BMiBaby is due to commence a Jersey-Birmingham service in competition with Flybe.
Flights will operate Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays from the 24th May 2007.
 
NEW JERSEY-DURHAM TEES VALLEY SERVICE
 
Flyglobespan is due to commence a Jersey-Durham Tees Valley service.
Flights will operate on Saturdays from the 30th June 2007.
 
THOMSONFLY UPDATE
 
Thomsonfly is due to commence a new Jersey-Luton service.
Flights will operate daily from the 3rd May 2007. Meanwhile flights
 between Jersey and Cardiff are being increased to 5 a week.
NEW JERSEY-HEATHROW SERVICE
 
 
BMi British Midland International commenced a new twice daily Airbus
A.319/A.320 Jersey-Heathrow service with effect from the 25th March 2007.
 
ATLANTIC AIRLINES
 
Atlantic Airlines has taken over the Guernsey mail contract.
The mail and papers are now delivered to Guernsey each weekday
by two BAe. ATP aircraft.  On Saturdays a Lockheed Electra is used.
