operates a Search & Rescue
service in the Channel
Islands.
 
Channel Islands Air Search
commenced operations
in 1980 as Guernsey Air Search.
 
Its first aircraft was a PA-23
Aztec registered G-BBWM.
 
The PA-23 Aztec was
replaced in 1992 by
a BN-2B Islander.
 
On arrival in Guernsey
the BN-2B Islander was
registered as G-CIAS and
was named "Lion's Pride".
